Dreams Du Jour

A 2010 VCRocks Make and Take presented by Carolyn Sharkas


Supplies:
Dreams Du Jour Stamp Set
Black Stazon Ink Pad
Big Shot w/ texture plate acc.
Pumpkin Pie Stripped Ribbon (2-approx. 5" pieces)
Flourish Texture Plate
Scallop Border Punch
Stampin Write Markers in: Barely Banana, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Glorious Green and Gable Green
Melon Mambo card stock 11 x 4.25 folded in half
Pumpkin Pie Card stock 4 x 5.5
Barely Banana card stock 2-5/8 x 2-5/8
Barely Banana card stock 4.25 x .75
Whisper White card stock 2-3/8 x 2-3/8
Whisper White card stock scraps.

Directions:
1. Get out your trusty Big Shot and run your Pumpkin Pie card stock through with the Flourish Texture Plate.
2. Using your Scallop Border Punch, Punch the front bottom of card base, the short side of the Pumpkin Pie,
and the 4.25 x .75 piece of Barely Banana.
3. Wrap 1 piece of your Striped Pumpkin Pie Ribbon around Punched and embossed Pumpkin Pie card stock about 1" from bottom.
4. Stamp image on 2-3/8 square of Whisper White card stock with Black Stazon.
5. Stamp just largest flower again onto scrap card stock with Black Stazon.
6. Stamp just the word DREAMS again using Melon Mambo Marker direct to rubber and huffing before stamping.
7. Color images using markers.
8. Cut out DREAMS and adhere it to you image over black DREAMS.
9. Cut out largest Flower and adhere it with a Dimensional over same flower on image.
10. Assemble card Whisper White onto Barely Banana, then onto Pumpkin Pie, then Melon Mambe base.
11. On the inside bottom of card, attach Barely Banana punched piece.
12. Tie "faux" bow with remaining piece of Pumpkin Pie Ribbon.

I love to make simple cards that everyone feels they can make. There are lots of stampers out there that may not have the time to make a more intense card. Hope you have enjoyed this make n take.
