Fun With The New Catty Blog Hop

     We are celebrating the new catalog with this month's Fun With The New Catty Blog Hop. We are as excited as all of you are to see all the new stamps, colors & accessories that the new catty arrival has brought us. 

     To start things off, we have a project from Kay Hadley, who wrote this to describe her cards. "Big Wishes" is new and has 4 stamps... I used all four for this card and envelope! The colors are Blueberry Bushel, Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Coastal Cabana, and Lemon-Lime Twist.  Using the Stamparatus, I stamped the ink image, then stamped over it with VersaMark and heat embossed Wish Big and Happy Birthday. Fussy cut the Happy Birthday sponged a "cloud" of color and put it on with dimensionals. "Hope your day is truly Amazing" is inside; "Enjoy Today" is on the envelope flap. Voila! Used the whole set! I used a blender on a rhinestone for the bow on the middle "present." That doesn't really show in the photos.

Fun With One Color - A Blog Hop!

Welcome back from what has been (still is in some places?) a wet and cold winter and early spring.

To get VC Rocks back into its summer spirit, we're having a short Blog Hop to show off some Stampin' Up! colors. Color in this case is a broad range of different shades and hues using just one main color. Think Orange, Blue, Purple, and many more. Then think of all the different Stampin' Up! specific colors that fall under that broad color umbrella. That's what you'll see in our Blog Hop!

To finish up, we have a project from Carolyn Sharkas, who does not have a blog, but who loves Blog Hops! Carolyn featured Soft Suede as her color, and did a heck of a lot of stamping off to get a card that's featuring the Sepia Technique. Comment here about her lovely card!
