VSD Weekend

VC Rocks was started 15 years ago this month, so we celebrated it this weekend with 2 days of virtual stamping challenges. In case you missed any here are the challenges, post your creations to the group we'd love to see them.

1. CASE a card from the catalog pg 74-110 but make it your own.

2.  Make a scrapbook page for a party, whether it is a birthday party, New Year's Eve party, graduation party, any party.

3. Use your dies/framelits to either make a base for your card or be part of the card like layering.

4. Use 2 feet of ribbon (24 inches) on a scrapbook page or double page layout.

5. Make a card using one of these techniques- kissing, thumping or rock & roll.

6. Scrapbook a Christmas Themed page and share with the group. Make sure you journal or notate the year somewhere in the page.

7.  1+2=3 Select 1 set & 2 colors (same for ink & paper) make 3 different cards. This challenge will take a bit longer to do so giving you 1 1/2 hours. (White & Vanilla count as a color)

8.  You challenge, if you so chose to take it is to make a scrapbook page using 3 colors from the same color family and 2 different types of embellishments (like ribbon & brad, washi tape & candy dots, etc)

9.  Make a card that uses glitter or our dazzling details on it.

10.  Make a scrapbook page with texture. Use embossing folder, embossing powder, glitter, or something that will bring texture to your page.

11.  Artist rule of 3- make a card using 3 accessories, images, panels, etc.

12.  Make a monochromatic scrapbook page.
13. Make a card using 1 of these color combos- Pool Party, Sahara Sand, Whisper White OR Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate, Whisper White

14. Journal a page about your childhood. It can be any time in your childhood. Include at least one picture of yourself.

15. Make a card using the DSP cut, flip & add a strip technique.

16. Create a Scrapbook page using at least 5 punched images.

17.  Make a card that uses a sentiment as the main image.

18.  Use this sketch to create a page.

19. Make a card that divides your image or scene into 3 panels.

20. Create a page using only scraps of cardstock (Your base page an be a full sheet)

21. Make a card using this sketch (interpretation is allowed)

22. Create a page with 4 photos, 3 brads, buttons, rhinestones or pearls, 2 journal strips, and 1 DSP somewhere on the page

23. Make a card that has dots on it- DSP, TIEF, daubers, stamps, piercing, etc.

24.  For this final Scrapbook challenge of the weekend allow yourself a little more time and make 3 3-d items (think Jolee's Boutique style) and use on a scrapbook page.

#2. Create a Scrapbook page for water. It can be water from a pool, beach, waterfall, kitchen sink, drink, etc, anything as long as water is the theme of the page.

#3. CASE a card out of the catalog (set, color, sketch or exactly)
#4. Create a page with the theme food
#5. Make a card using ONLY 5 colors from 1 color family (card stock & ink) with either white or vanilla.
#6. Create a Scrapbook page using only 2 colors and 2 embellishments

#7. Make a card using punch art.
#8. Make a scrapbook page about the beach. Whether you have been there or it is on your future bucket list.
#9. Make a card using Pool Party, Pear Pizazz & Soft Suede#10. Create a page using at least 2 retired colors, they can be any retired colors
