One of our members, Nancy, shared a make & take she made from a recent class she had. Thanks Nancy for sharing. At the bottom of this post is a pdf form of it so you can download it if you would like.
Blooming Birthday CASED CARD
Stamp Sets: Accented Blooms, Label Me Pretty; Papers: Poppy Parade (welcome back!), Crumb Cake, Whisper White; Ink: Craft White, Versamark*; Punch: Tailored Tag; Accessories: Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, White Embossing Powder, Stampin’ Dimensionals
1. Score Poppy Parade card base at 5 ½ and fold. Usually, this is a tall card, but today, it’s horizontal
2. Emboss:
- PREP **Use embossing buddy (EB) – wipe off the paper with the EB before you emboss.
- INK largest stamp (the one with the tag-shaped hole in the middle) by tapping Versamark on it, then ink in White Craft Ink and stamp on Crumb Cake piece (that you have cut to the size noted in the materials, above).
- SPRINKLE with White Embossing Powder, tap excess back into the EP jar.
- HEAT from behind with Heat Tool until it melts and looks all pretty.**
- Using the smaller “Happy Birthday” flowery stamp on a scrap of Poppy Parade, follow the PREP, INK, SPRINKLE and HEAT steps again, then punch this piece with the Tailored Tag punch. {If you don’t have the Tailored Tag punch, you could hand trim it}
4. Pop up the Poppy Parade Tailored Tag piece on 4 dimensionals and adhere in center of opening as shown.
5. If desired, PREP, INK, SPRINKLE and HEAT the “Always thinking of you” sentiment inside!
