Make and Take: Happy Umpteenth Birthday

This card uses new DSP and In-Colors from the new Annual Catalog!

SUPPLIES:
Cardstock – Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Cherry on Top DSP Stack (138443)
Ink – Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay
Stamps – Oh My Goodies (134087 – W, 134090 – C)
Accessories – Stampin Dimensionals, Banners Framelits (132173), Deco Labels Framelits (130102), 2 ½” Circle punch (120906)

CARDSTOCK CUTS:
Whisper White – 3 ½ x 4 ¾, scrap for stamping sentiment
Cucumber Crush – 3 ¾ x 5, scrap for shadow label
Bermuda Bay – 4 ¼ x 11, scrap for punching circle
Delightful Dijon – ½ x 4 ¼
Use Banners Framelits to cut out three banners (per card) of the DSP (Use the one inch wide framelit for this design)

Instructions:-Select prints for banners and cut with Big Shot and framelit.
-Cut cardstock pieces as noted above.
-Score Bermuda Bay piece at 5½ to create your card base so that the final folded size is 4¼ x 5½.
-Attach the three banners pieces to the Whisper White piece you cut, alternating the length of the banners on the card front (see graphic) and then trim off the excess at the top.
(sorry, my computer cut off the card lines below)

Having the banners different lengths helps create movement across the face of the card.

-Once the banners are applied to the white CS and trimmed, layer the white CS on top of the Cucumber, carefully centering it, then layer and adhere those two pieces on top of the card base as shown in the sample above.
-Stamp the “Umpteenth Birthday” sentiment in Cucumber crush on a scrap of Whisper White, then cut with Big Shot and Label framelit. Go on and cut the Cucumber Crush label for the shadow while you are at the Big Shot.
-Punch Bermuda Bay circle.  Adhere Bermuda Bay circle to Cucumber Deco Label. 

-Then, place Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Deco Label you stamped with the first sentiment, and attach to the Cucumber-Bermuda assembly you just created.
-Lay the piece of ½ x 4 ¼ piece of Delightful Dijon on your work surface and run about two inches of SNAIL in the middle section of it (where the Xes are).

-Place the Deco Label assembly (Cucumber label, Bermuda Bay Circle, Stamped Sentiment on dimensionals mentioned above) carefully on the Dijon piece you just put SNAIL on, centering it horizontally and making sure the points on the left and right ends of the Cucumber Deco label are vertically centered as shown on the card.
-Adhere the whole layered piece you just made on the card front as shown.
-Open it up, stamp the sentiment on the interior in Bermuda Bay ink and then stamp your personalized stamp on the back.
