Make & Take: Nancy's Happy Birthday With New In Colors

SUPPLIES:

Cardstock – Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, Very Vanilla

Ink – Blackberry Bliss

Stamps – Perfect Pennants (Wood – 133227, Clear - 133230), Hardwood (BG stamp) (133035), Teeny Tiny Wishes (Wood – 128748, Clear – 127802)

Accessories – Decorative Label Punch (120907), Blackberry Bliss stitched satin ribbon (133668), Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack (133787), Stampin’ Dimensionals

DSP – Moonlight DS Paper Pack – cut one of the Hello Honey grid pattern pieces at 2 ¼ x 3 ¾ plus a scrap for star punch, 7/8” scallop circle

Cardstock cuts:

Hello Honey – card base – 4 ¼ x11, scored at 5 ½ 

Blackberry Bliss – 2 ¾ x 3 ¾, plus scraps for punching

Very Vanilla – scrap for punching label

Instructions:

• Score Hello Honey to create your card base at 4.25 so that the final size is 5 ½ x 4 ¼ 
• Adhere Hello Honey grid DSP on Blackberry Bliss piece.
• Adhere the above assembly (HH on BB) to the card as shown.
• Tie the Blackberry Bliss ribbon around the front flap of the card. I used a tiny bit of adhesive to hold the ribbon in place, and tied a knot about ¾ of an inch from the fold on the left.
• Punch three stars from Blackberry Bliss scrap, mount on Stampin’ Dimensionals and place on Hello Honey grid DSP that you just attached to the card front.
• Stamp Happy Birthday from Teeny Tiny Wishes (or another sentiment) so that it ends at least one inch from right hand (opening) side of card. 
• Punch scallop circle from Blackberry Bliss scrap, adhere flat to card front in bottom right hand corner, attach punched star from scrap of Hello Honey grid DSP on dimensional on top of scalloped circle. Tip – I cut one dimensional into 4 pieces and used those four pieces for the stars.
• Stamp Make a Wish sentiment on Very Vanilla and punch out.
• To make the patterned stars, ink about half of the Woodgrain stamp. Ink the star stamp by placing it on the inked portion of the Woodgrain stamp. I kissed my star stamp to the inked Woodgrain stamp ONE time. If you do it multiple times it will give you a textured look, but the more times you kiss it, the more muddled it gets. Stamp the inside of the card 2-3 times, cleaning and reinking each time for best results.
