Nature's Nest

A 2010 VC Rocks M&T presented by Veronica Miller.
This card uses the Nature’s Nest set. It is not my design but one we made at a meeting with my upline recently.

1. Rub watercolor paper with embossing buddy

2. Stamp feathers with VersaMark and emboss with black powder

3. Squeeze water from the Aqua Painter and cover the paper. Can also be dampened with water spritzer

4. Pick up color from flat end of Old Olive Watercolor Wonder crayon and begin adding color to paper. Let it run. Make a random design.

5. Clean Aqua Painter and repeat step 4 with Not Quite Navy crayon. Do this until you are happy with the color. If paper starts getting too dry, spray lightly with water.

6. Let paper dry. May speed this process with heat gun but be careful not to scorch the paper.

7. Randomly stamp the feather with VersaMark on Old Olive card front

8. Add a dot of 2 way glue to the eye of the feather and cover with turquoise glitter.

9. Using Mat Pack as a guide, punch holes for 3 brads

10. Glue to black mat; glue mat to card.
